Your Privacy Choices

Your privacy rights on Modest Kouture and how to exercise them. We do not sell or share personal information.

Modest Kouture does not sell or share your personal information, does not use it for targeted advertising, and does not run advertising or analytics trackers on this site. We use your information only to run the marketplace: to process orders, payments, returns, and messages, to keep the site secure, and to send the emails you have chosen to receive.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, state privacy laws (including the California Consumer Privacy Act) give you the right to:

  • Know and access the personal information we hold about you, and receive a copy of it.
  • Delete your personal information, subject to the records we must keep (see below).
  • Correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of. If that ever changes, we will update this page and provide the opt-out here first.
  • Limit use of sensitive information. Other than the credentials that secure your account, we do not collect sensitive personal information. Payment card details go directly to Stripe and never reach our servers.
  • Non-discrimination. We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.

How to exercise them

  • Signed in: open My Profile to download a copy of your data or to request deletion of your account.
  • By email: write to hello@modestkouture.com with "Privacy request" in the subject line. To protect your account we will confirm the request from the email address registered to it. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with your written permission.

We acknowledge every request and respond within 45 days. A deletion request results in your account and personal data being deleted or de-identified. Records of orders, payments, taxes, refunds, and returns are kept for as long as accounting and legal obligations require; everything else is removed.
